I was very excited to receive this blender after reading all the reviews. However, when I received this blender, I was extremely disappointed. This is by far the loudest appliance ever! I thought something was wrong, so I double-checked to make sure everything was in place. I put in 3 cups of ice and expected they would all be crushed, that didn't happen. I had to remove the many pieces of icecubes in order to give my children the snow cones they were expecting. I will return this product!Customer Review: a real man's blender

Yeah, maybe your makin' smoothies for the guys, but unless your wearing an embroidered apron, there won't be any questions.

I bought one of these because it claimed to be heavy duty. Mine suffered electrical failure almost immediately. And look at the grab nub on the cap. It's smooth and beveled backwards (like a teepee instead of like a vee), so if your fingers are the least bit slippery, you cannot use that nub for its sole and only purpose, which is to remove the cap. Poor reliability and careless design work by a company that's been making blenders far too long to be putting out a product like this.Customer Review: effective but LOUD

This is a great-looking, great-operating, sturdy, no-fuss blender. I'm satisfied with its performance and durability, and I love its great looks. The only drawback, as others have mentioned, is it is LOUD. I definitely think it could cause permanent hearing loss. It is no exaggeration that I wear hearing protection when I use it, so keep that in mind if you're considering it. (You can get cheap, effective earplugs at a drug store.)Customer Review: Anyway it's powerful!

Family all the members bought this blender, and became happy.
Tens of times more made in Japan used so far of juice using ice can also be done easily powerfully.
It has a slightly small capacity and it's felt, but you can break apart easily, so the maintenance is also easy and it's easy to use. (A tooth is very sharp, so, attention is necessary for handling.) I'd like to recommend everyone by all means.
