This silicone spoon rest/scraper is a wonder! Unlike breakable ceramic ones, this little pad just sits quietly on the stovetop. Busy cooks have no worries about accidentally dropping it on the way to the sink to wash or breaking under the impact of a very hot spoon. It could be just a bit larger/longer in one dimension to accommodate not only the spoon bowl but also the drippy part of the handle, but this is a very minor complaint overall. When not in use as a spoon rest, it scrapes every last bit of batter from a bowl, and does so efficiently.
