The lid is not as tight or secure as I would like it (I would like something that can lock to the tray not just float on top) but the tray does a good job with ice cube removal. It's very easy, especially when pushing it against the counter side to remove 3 cubes at a time. Also it's still doing ok in terms of wear after about 1 year of use. Don't overfill to make it easy to remove the ice.Customer Review: Very nice. Ice stays clean and fresh!

Love these trays. They keep the ice clean and fresh and the trays are easily stackable. You do have to run hot water over the bottom before you pop them out or the ice won't come out. I'm glad I read that trick on another review before I ordered them because that makes all the difference. Overall I really like them.
