Customer Review: Nice Size for Kids, Poor Design for All

A couple weeks ago it dawned on me what a great idea it would be to make popsicles regularly during the Summer. I quickly logged onto amazon and browsed the top options. Tovolo Yellow Groovy Pop Molds seemed like the best option, but would have taken too much room in my freezer. So I opted for these Orka Ice Pop Molds instead.
What I like best about the Orka molds is that they fit PERFECTLY into my ice cream maker's bowl from the Cuisinart ICE-30BC Pure Indulgence 2-Quart Automatic Frozen Yogurt, Sorbet, and Ice Cream Maker. Also, the shape is great. I really like the twisty bumps for some reason. The size is pretty small, especially compared to the Tovolo pops. These hold just a couple ounces, but that is probably perfect for anyone under 6 years old. My kid's only 3 months, so no pops for her yet.
There are several major negatives though that would make me recommend different pops if you are happy with a larger sized popsicle: the silcon is slightly difficult to remove, assembled it feels wobbly and cheap. The holders have big cups on them that do an okay job trapping the melting popsicles, but make it difficult to eat the bottom quarter. The part of the stick that goes into the popsicle is to thin to hold the popsicle securley, making it very eassy to twist the popsicle around on the holder.
