Thanks to another review, I knew these wouldn't be the zesty, bright lime in the pics, but I like avocado green, too, so that's okay!
Thus far these tongs are great for keeping a firm grip on things (e.g., grabbing up slippery, oily noodles), and they seem very sturdy.

Easy to use, locks closed with a pull on the ring, and the nonslip surface makes for easy cleanup. The silicone can be fragilee, so be careful if you hold a roast with the tongs while carving; it's easy to carve off some of the scallops on the edges.Customer Review: Wrong color

These tongs are not lime green as depicted on the picture. It's a dark flat unappealing green. Just letting everyone know in case one of the reasons for ordering it is the beautiful color.
