I have owned these tongs for 4 months now.
These tongs have an excellent grade of silicone on them (no staining), and the metal where the tongs change from handle to the working end of the tong is sturdy. A flimsy pair of tongs is worthless. This has been a flaw in almost every pair of tongs that I have looked at until now.
The lock keeps the tongs completely closed, saving storage space.
These tongs have done well with everything I've tried them with from deep frying to handling raw meat to turning fish in a skillet.
This is my first Orka purchase, but I will be quick to buy Orka again.
