I purchased two of these replacement batteries and neither of them held a charge for more than 2 minutes. Had I read earlier reviews of this product, I would have been forewarned. I paid mainly using a gift card and the remainder with my credit card. I've received a refund on the credit card but I am still waiting for my $25 credit on my Amazon account. If it doesn't happen soon I will have to waste more time cleaning up this mess! My advice, don't order this and if you do, use a credit card and not a credit from your Amazon account.Customer Review: The batteries do not hold a charge

I ordered two replacement batteries for the Swivel Sweeper from Before The Stores through Amazon.com. Neither of the batteries will hold a charge and do not have enough power to finish cleaning one small floor. I called the company and after 45 minutes on hold, they said they would replace the batteries for free. They sent me one replacement battery, instead of two, and it will not hold a charge. I was on the phone 47 minutes to get authorization to return the batteries. I believe they are selling used batteries that do not work.Customer Review: New Battery All That Was Needed

The replacement battery makes the Swivel Sweeper more powerful than we ever remember it being originally. The key is to charge the new battery fully for no more than eight hours and then to NOT recharge it again until after it completely runs out of power. And then do not leave the recharger plugged in for more than eight hours. So we have had the new battery for over a month and only recharged it two or three times.
Before, we made the mistake of leaving the old battery plugged into the charger all the time.

I give this 3 star due to cost. My Swivel Sweeper stopped working. I love the sweeper, it is so fast and easy to use after meals etc. I bought two replacement batteries, but unfortunately that didn't fix the problem. I read in other reviews that the sweeper doesn't work very long, my broke down after 3 months. I decided to buy another one since I already had 2 new and 1 used battery, hoping it will last longer.
The batteries works as expected (even the old one) - I hope the Swivel Sweeper will too.

My Swivel Sweeper quit working in less than a year even after taking meticulous care of it and continued maintenance. The new battery helped for a few days when the sweeper quit working again. The life of the Swivel Sweeper is short, but I decided to buy the battery in hopes to prolong my use of the sweeper. Of course, I was happy with the battery and the low cost; however, the purchase of the battery assisted in my decision to save money on the purchase of another Swivel Sweeper.
