I have been using it for almost an year on daily basis to chop onions, carrots, potatoes and it works fine. Onions have to be cut into 4 pieces inorder to be put into the chopper. So far i did not face any problems. The bottom part is made of plastic, almost similar to a plastic blender jar, so it needs to be handled little carefully or it might break. For the price, i think this onion chopper rocks.Customer Review: chopper

I own a "as seen on TV" onion chopper that comes with 2 grids, coarse and fine. I LOVE it and ordered 2 more for Xmas gifts. The ones received had only 1 grid and were similar but from a different manufacturer I think....anyhow not the same thing. I returned both to the seller and had to pay over $11 in shipping and then pay to have them returned. Next time I will shop locally.Customer Review: suggest not to buy with lot of hopes

i bought it 15 days back and it broke when i am chopping onion.. but its great to cut soft vegetables and even carrot is also good.. but i couldnt cut onions as mentioned.. probably we have to buy the onions from them hahhahaha... i dont suggest buying it for onions.. coz i bought only for onions so that i could save my tearsCustomer Review: Awesome chopper

This chopper is such a great time-saver. I use it to chop green peppers and onions for Spanish rice, and tomatoes for salsa - in seconds! Sometimes it takes a couple of taps on the top, but always makes uniform bitesize pieces. The comb that comes with is handy for cleaning residue from the top. I love this thing!! I have made fresh salsa everyday. I have no trouble chopping onions. You need to slice the onion using slices about 1/4" to 1/3" thick. Carrots need to be sliced in half. It is great for dicing onions for cooking. Even celery can be diced. I would recommend highly!!
