I purchased these adorable forks, for they match the Oneida Islet flatware I have. I have found them to be useful for grabbing pickles in the botttom of the jar and for eating oysters. Although they appear dainty, they are sturdy and maintain their shine after dishwashing. Certainly not a necessity for an eating utensil, but a great addition nevertheless.

Stick them into lemon wedges for an informal presentation. They're also useful for pickles and butter pats.
