Resting on soft, rubberlike Santoprene feet that resist slipping and won't mar a tabletop, these three trivets protect surfaces from hot pots, pans, and casserole dishes of various sizes. The trivets are made of 18/8 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish, and their geometric shapes are not only clever but permit them to nest niftily. The largest trivet is a 7-3/4-inch square; the medium-size trivet is round with a 6-inch diameter; and the smallest is a triangle that measures 3-3/4 inches high. The Santoprene feet lift the trivets high enough for good air circulation, preventing condensation on the surface underneath.
