This is a great first set of silverware. Its cheap price and colors are very attractive. However, even though they have rivets, they tend to rust around the rivets when left exposed to water longer than a few minutes. You get what you pay for so if you like the color they are worth it.

This plastic handled set in dark green is ideal for camping, picnics and patio entertaining. In spite of the great price and casual styling you will be pleased to find that the construction is full tang, and edges are polished smooth for comfort.Lively and sturdy, the Oneida Color Trends flatware is a great addition to your picnic basket, cabin kitchen, or patio table. The handles are crafted from thermoplastic with rounded edges that feel good in the hand and the flatware's full-tang construction--the steel piece runs all the way down the handle--makes them festive without flimsiness. Oneida uses stainless steel for the working ends and polishes it to a mirror finish. This 20-piece set includes 4 place settings, each with an 8-3/4-inch place knife with serrated edge, 7-3/4-inch place fork, 7-3/4-inch place spoon, 6-1/2-inch salad fork, and 6-1/4-inch teaspoon.
