I bought this product for my Mother who has arthritic hands for Christmas. What an outstanding product. It works extremely well and does exactly what the manufacturer advertises.....how special is that??!!
It doesn't take a huge amount of counter space, doesn't require electricity or charging and fits nicely in a drawer. I would recommend this product to anyone with arthritis, weak and or smaller hands such as children.

This product works well, with some caveats. Although it will save twisting, if the top of the jar is sloped, like many sauce jars, the opener's grips will slip up the side, so you have to keep pushing down on it to hold the device on the jar. As others have noted, it will break if pushed, so if the jar does not open, do not try to force it. And it is not very fast. However, for the price it is useful.Customer Review: Nice but has problems.

I bought this for my wife about 3 month's ago and she likes it, it will open just about anything my wife has thrown at it BUT it will not open canning jar's! We did a lot of canning last year & my wife really needed something to open the jar's since they get so tight but this jar opener will not do it! This is a great machine. It's light, very functional and does almost everything as advertised. The only issue... If you leave it in the drawer and bump the on/off switch it will start it's cycle. You have to hit the button to reverse the cycle to make it stop. Otherwise it will go the whole cycle before coming to a stop. I had high hopes for this item since I have difficulty with my hands sometimes. Someone had recommended it to me so I thought I would try it. When I got it, I tried opening several things and it only opened about half of them. The others, it just turned on the bottle. Maybe it was defective or something, but I can do better without it. It is also loud.
