This juicer is a very well made Heavy Duty unit. I just got this unit and juiced about 30 oranges with no problems. There is no aluminum on the machine. The part that touches the rind of the orange is steel and the strainer cone and funnel are Stainless Steel. The Stainless strainer cone and funnel are not extra heavy metal but they are very rigid and strong enough to do the job they were intended to do. This juicer is Large and Strong enough to Juice a large Grapefruit. I highly recommend this Juicer.
