Customer Review: This won't last very long because of rust....

I received this for Christmas as a gift, seemed like a great idea, good looking, and the carbon filter seemed to be effective in stopping odor. The big problem, however is that after only one month the rust is really bad on the inside of the pail, a few spots the size of a quarter, a dozen dime-sized spots. It *looks* like stainless steel, but perhaps it is not, or is a low grade of SS, regardless it is ineffective at preventing rust. I'll continue to use it until it rusts through, probably by next Christmas!
