Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of OXO SteeL Garlic Press, Stainless

Customer Review: Fabulous!
Summary: 5 Stars

Until I purchased this tool I rarely used fresh garlic -- mincing was just too much trouble. Now fresh garlic is all I use. Not only does this press produce perfectly sized pieces, it comes out of the dishwasher looking like the day it was purchased. If you're waffling on purchasing this item, my advice is go for it!

Customer Review: I expect better from OXO
Summary: 3 Stars

The search for an excellent garlic press is never-ending. This OXO press is fairly easy to use, I like the weighty feel, and it cleans up more easily than other presses I've owned. On the other hand, the pressings are coarser than average, and a significant amount of garlic remains in the press after each squeeze.

Customer Review: My Mother Loves it.
Summary: 5 Stars

Purchased for my mother to replace I-series (screen broke). Solid feel (heavy), stainless steel, works great, screen cleaner is nice. Handles do sometimes fill with a little water and they slide off. Don't know if oxo intended them to come off, but this hasn't affected actual use. Definitely recommend.

Customer Review: The last press I'll have to buy
Summary: 5 Stars

Heavy, well made, attractive and effective. I use it several times a week. I don't have to put it in the dishwasher - just rinse it out with hot water and it comes clean. A friend of mine used it the other night when helping me prepare dinner and said she'd buy one for herself and one for her daughter.

Customer Review: Works like a charm
Summary: 5 Stars

This item was received as advertised in new packaging and works perfectly. It is incredibly heavy and feels very substantial. You can put whole cloves of garlic in unpeeled and it somehow squeezes out the minced garlic, leaving the peels in the chamber to be disposed of. Very happy with this.
