Got this in my christmas stocking and thought yah right a jigger what am i going to do with this. My typical mixing of drinks is one long pour followed by the next ingredient with another long pour. After some tasting I may decide to shorten the pour of a certain drink. However I was always disappointed that my drinks were never as good as the ones at the bar (despite top shelp liqour and no skimping on the pour). Turns out mixing drinks is like cooking and you need to follow the receipe. Now that I am using the jigger my drinks taste like they are supposed to.
The Oxo Jigger is very solid and seems well crafted. The black rubber allows me to hold it steady why I am pouring the liqour into it. It looks nice enough that I leave it on the bar instead of tucked away in a drawer. It also cleans up easily and I have noticed no spotting despite putting it in the dishwasher on accident.
