Customer Review: Very very innacurate

I bought this the other day, and was puzzled at how it seemed to be reading unrealistically low temperature. I tested it by putting the tip in boiling water - 180 degrees. The boiling temperature of water is 212. There is no way to calibrate it. Oxo is usually a good brand, but this thing is not a good product. I am taking it back.
