Oxo wooden turner is the best! I've used it almost daily for 3 years and it's still holding up to the biggest tasks. Great for saving non-stick cookware from scratches. Utensil is large, handle is thick and sturdy, wood is smooth. I've even put mine in the dishwasher on numerous occasions and it still looks great!Customer Review: Good for cleaning cast iron skillets

I have tried to use this spatula for flipping eggs on a cast iron skillet, but failed miserably. I then realized its new purpose: a cast iron skillet cleaner. I guess its being used in some way...
So basically, it's not good for flipping eggs but good at cleaning cast iron skillets.

I love this turner. I use it for stir-fry and making thick sauces. It has a nice weight and thickness to it.
I've had it for about 3 months now. I've never had it splinters come off of it. I do handwash it. I never do wooden tools in the dishwasher.

Get rid of your old wooden spoons, the flat edge is way more useful than the rounded.
I use this spoon to cook everything, from chopping up meat to flipping eggs, it is a wooden spoon, knife, and spatula in one.
