I was skeptical that there could be a significant difference in the performance of vegetable peelers, but this is a great tool! Well balanced and comfortable, with a super-sharp blade... it makes quick work of potatoes. I purchased a new peeler to put in a second area in the kitchen. Only thing is my old peeler works slightly better and it is a lot older. I don't like the idea that I can purchase a new blade on this one either. Heck, I'd rather not bother with changing blades and just buy a new one. Just doesn't do it for me.Customer Review: Get it!!

It was rated really high by Cooks Illustrated... my wife has made some delicious recipes from that magazine so if they say it's good, it must be. She seems to like the feel and comfort of the grip. I have used cheap peelers, and I can say that there really s a difference. I don't think you'll be sorry.Customer Review: Must Own For Every Kitchen

Admittedly this is the first peeler I've ever owned but holy hell does it work flawlessly. Cutting the skin off vegetables or fruit is effortless and cleanup takes no time at all. The blade sharpness, the handle, it's all perfect as far as I'm concerned. I'm a huge fan of the Oxo brand after using this.Customer Review: Can't use it left-handed

I believe this is the same Oxo swivel peeler I bought, and I can't use it as I'm left-handed. It appears the blades are angled such that they don't work if the peeler is held in my left hand, which is how I peel.
I like many of Oxo's products, but not this one because of its severe limitation.
