I bought this peeler based on reviews by Cooks Illustrated and agree with their reviews. The stainless steel blade means no rust and have not seen rust yet after months of use. It glides through potato skin like butter. Carrots are even smoother. I wanted a hefty peeler for butternut squash and this peeler does a much better job then my previous favorite peeler from Tupperware. I highly recommend this peeler.Customer Review: Great peeler.

This peeler is a replacement for the previous style that Oxo has been making for many years. My old one, after years of use, broke recently and I was debating whether to get this one or the old version, which I really liked. I'm glad I picked the newer style. I love the heft of the handle that makes peeling easier and the little doohicky on the end to get out bad spots is a big improvement over the old one.Customer Review: Solid, comfortable peeler.

I have a couple of peelers in my junk drawer and I don't know why I even have the others because I always toss them aside while I search for this one. It is really comfortable to hold, the blade is sharp and pivots really well. The other thing is that it is all solidly built in that it doesn't feel like a some of those other older peelers that are made from cheap metal in a non-ergonomic design.Customer Review: Finally - a comfortable handle!

I own an assortment of peelers, and have tried several others at friends' homes. While most do a good job of peeling, handle comfort has always been somewhat elusive. Well, if you want the ultimate in comfort, look no further. This is fantastic - sharp as can be, plus the handle lets you work with ease even if you have arthritic hands. Even my 88 year old mom found it to be comfortable!Customer Review: Tremendous!

After getting pinches and blisters form my clunky outdated metal peeler for years (what was i thinking?) I decided to upgrade based on other positive reviews. This product is as advertised - very easy to use, extremely efficient (wath those fingers near the blade- I learned the hard way!) and easy to clean up. I can't imagine I wont have this product in my kitchen drawer forever.
