Customer Review: Legitimate no leak travel mug

I have had this mug for about 2 months now, using it every work day. I have abandoned my daily disposable coffee cup and have gone to the reusable mug, only forgetting it 1 time in the last month and a half.
Leak Proof: I was at first cautious with carrying it until I was sure it did not leak and now I have to say that it absolutely does not leak. It can lay on its side, be shaken and even turned upside and nothing will come out. Sometimes a little liquid may get trapped in the lid/seal area and that will cause the mug to appear as though it is leaking. However, once that little bit is gone that is it. I carry it in my backpack, my lunch bag and even sideways tucked under my arm when I need to use my keys.
Insulation: It is insulated, keeps hot coffee warm and iced coffee's cold. I would say that it perhaps keeps cold beverages better than the hot ones, but even at keeping the hot its more than adequate for my liking.
Volume: I tested it and it definitely measures to 14oz, perhaps 15oz if you really push but then you bring liquid into the seal and it will cause it to leak a little bit.
Cleaning: I run it through the dishwasher on the weekend every now and then but hand wash it most weeknights simply because we usually only run the dishwasher every few days. Its simple to clean, though you should pop off the rubber gasket every once and while as liquid does get trapped in there. I even cheat on occasion and run the top through the dishwasher even though it says hand wash only. I am sure I am shortening the life of the cup or something but its just easier and so far no damage to the effectiveness (I remove the rubber gasket first). I will admit that it has a coffee smell residual that does not seem to go away with cleaning, but in all honesty what would you expect since that is what I use it for 5 days a week.
All in all, I can't think of any complaints and even like it better than the standard paper espresso drink cups. Pick your favorite color, it comes in a multitude.
When I forgot the mug at the office the night before I had to go with paper the next morning. It dripped on my hand, was hot to carry in from the car and hard to carry with my hands full. I actually washed out my travel mug in the office kitchen and transferred my coffee. Just was not the same without it.
