I have had this grinder for 6 months now and I hate it. It does not matter what grind setting you have it on, it comes out the same corsely ground way. The filling cap disengages easily while in use and before you know it the peppercorns are flying all over the place. I recommend buying peugeot,perfex, or zassenhaus. Cook's Illustrated recommended the magnum, but I could never spend over $40 for something made mostly of plastic.Customer Review: Great Kitchen Item

OXO Good Grips Pepper Grinder
This item is easy to fill from the bottom unlike other products which must be disasembled from the top. My husband is handicapped and this is the first pepper grinder he is able to use with ease. The price is great for the value of the merchandise. It was shipped sooner than anticipated.

Easy to use and consistent/plentiful output. I love not having to worry about the adjustment changing itself. Yes, the cap is a little loose and it spilled once but I think it works loose very slowly and if you check it every once in a while it'll be fine. I wondered if the stainless steel would hold fingerprints or if the acrylic would get cloudy - but after owning it over a year it still looks almost brand new.Customer Review: The BEST Pepper Mill EVER!!!

The title says it all! I am pitching the four other pepper mills I have in my cupboard in various states of repair. This is the ULTIMATE in pepper mills! Easy to use, easy to fill, works perfectly and feels good in the hand. Equally at home next to the stove or on the table - a truly SUPERIOR product in every sense! Bought this based on the reviews. It is excellent in many regards as others have said. BUT the lid to close the peppercorns fits very very loosely. When I received the package, the peppercorns were strewn all over the box... and about half the time when we try and use it we end up with dozens of peppercorns in the salad plate. Seems like a design flaw. Hopefully we can send it back and get a refund.
