My plastic cookie scoop that my husband and I received as a wedding gift 7 years ago finally died. So I decided to upgrade to a higher quality scoop and hoped that this one would meet my expectations. So far, I am truly pleased with my purchase. I'll be ordering the smaller size next for smaller cookies. Today was the best day in my baking life, because I received this little thing as my first cookie scoop ever. The grip of this thing was pretty good. I scooped out my first cookie. Yay! Then another one. Double yay! Then as I scooped out the third one, the spring between the handles came out and hit me in the forehead. Ouch! The scoop jumped out of my hand and the poor piece of cookie dough fell on the floor. Well, that's the end of my new cookie scoop.Customer Review: Wonderful Tool

I recently bought this scoop and the small size one for my holiday baking. They're wonderful! It cuts my prep time significantly because it's so easy to scoop the dough and place it on the baking sheet. For the first time, I have nice round cookies. The handle is really comfortable and it's a cinch to clean in the dishwasher. I find the medium sized scoop is the most versatile. I've been checking Wal-Mart for months on this item and finally got tired of waiting so I bought it on line. I swear, the next day, Wal-Mart started selling them. It never fails. But it is a great item. My cookies were all big and uniform. The dough came out like it was suppose to and it was very easy to use. I used the medium one...am thinking about getting the small one. This is a must have tool for making cookies. No more mess with spoons and fingers you have to rinse every 3rd cookie. Also, the uniform cookies bake perfectly. I love it and plan to give one to all of my friends. Since the scoop makes a smaller cookie, I have found 10-13 minutes in the oven is just right. Over 13 minutes will give you a crunchy cookie. Buy this item and have fun!
