You can scoop all kinds of things - cookie dough, pancake batter, ice cream. The possibilities are limitless. OK, well they're actually NOT limitless, but as long as something can be scooped, this scoop will do a great job scooping it.
These OXO people keep coming up with good ideas. I never thought to add a comfy handle to my other scoops, but I always reach into the kitchen drawer and root around for this particular scoop because it's a great medium all-purpose size and is really comfortable to hold on to.

Finally have the perfect scoop for making cookies just the size I want them. Gave one of these to a daughter a couple of years ago and have wanted one for myself ever since. Why did I wait so long? The scoop is easy to handle, easy to use, easy to clean and does just what it should - scoop & release cookie dough or (probably) meat balls, etc. Haven't tried anything but dough so far. If you want your cookies a nice, uniform size, this is for you! Oh, and you can make nice, small ice cream scoops also. Kind of cute!Customer Review: I'm thinking swedish meatballs........

I bought these for cookie scooping, thinking they'd be smaller. As soon as I saw them I realized they'd be too big for the cookies I make. Tried them anyway to see the results, and got a thick chocolate chip cookie that the guys loved. I like them smaller so I ordered the smaller size one afterward. They're great scoops, well-made, comfortable to use (my hands hurt), and they release the dough beautifully. A must if you're having a cookie bake with other family members -- the only way to have uniform size.Customer Review: Great While Worked...

I bought this to make cookie preparations for Thanksgiving easier. When it worked, it worked great, and allowed me to easily scoop the cookie dough from the bowl. I was able to scoop about 5 dozen cookies (in one day), and then the scoop got caught, sort of like a zipper. I was able to fix it, and continue using it. However I don't think it should have broken so fast and after just one day of use, even if it was used to scoop 5 dozen cookies. I am not sure how long it'll last though...

I love this cookie scoop. I got the small and medium sizes but wish I had gotten the large one too. The dough slips out really easily and the handle isn't hard to use over and over again. It cleans nicely and makes uniform cookies. I use the small one for making cake balls (very yummy!)and the medium for my regular size cookies or whoopie pies. If you haven't used a cookie scoop you are missing out. It makes life so much easier for completing the product.
