While the OXO LiquiSeal mug in plastic has more colors and is truly no-leak (if you close the seal...it's not an insurance policy against stupidity or negligence), the stainless steel version is worth the extra few bucks if you also like to savor your coffee hot for a much longer time. It's still warm an hour later. My only complaint is that they should make the lid come apart easier for cleaning. I strongly recommend soaking the lid in some very hot water every few uses to prevent the build up of some coffee residue in the lid that you can't reach to clean. I own a few of these, but keep having to buy more as friends and family "adopt" them. Great gift for the on-the-movie coffee (or other hot beverage) drinker. It works for cold beverages too, but not any carbonated ones.
