Don't use this product to open jars with metal lids, such as baby food jars. The metal teeth leave jagged edges on the lids, which makes it really easy to cut yourself if you ever try to open the jar with your hands.Customer Review: dissatisfied

I have loved every Oxo item which I have purchased. I found this jar opener very difficult to handle. It would not clasp the lid well. I was never successful using it. My husband did not like it either. Trashed it.Customer Review: Works great

This is a nice little lightweight, flat opener. I got it to use on 2 liter bottle caps and it works great as I had hoped. Also works great on most jar lids up to a large peanut butter jar lid. Recommended.Customer Review: Mediocre

I've bought several of these products after hand surgery. The handles on all of them are great, but this can opener lacks in its ability to grip well, and so I often go back to the old fashioned method.
