I drink tea or hot water all day long, so use my kettle constantly. I've had mine for about 2 years and have LOVED it. Unfortunately, I spaced out today and thought I turned the burner on for the soup, but it was the kettle and it's now ruined. I love it so much, I have to buy another. Great design, especially for those who like modern, contemporary style. Sleek, good whistle, easy to clean. Yes, the lid gets hot, so I either use a flexible pot holder or mitt if I absolutely need to remove the lid before it cools. Most of the time I don't need to refill it before it's cool enough to handle with my bare hands, so this isn't a problem for me. Very stylish. Love it.
