Customer Review: DOES NOT WORK

In short: If you think this product will save you time in the kitchen, look elsewhere. All told, with the problems with things getting stuck, the effort, the time spent cleaning - it won't save you any time and just takes up more room in your kitchen.
I bought this for chopping onions, to make my prep work easier. Here's how it performed:
I cut the onion in half so it would fit. I pushed down on the chopper and ... it gets stuck. Every single time. So I have to open it up, dislodge the pieces of onion, put them back in the base and try again. But if I forget to use the lock feature, when I've cleared about half the onion, the blades SPRINGS back into place, sending whatever's left flying everywhere. After about two more times of this, it finally begins to chop. But not everything! No, if the outer layer of onion is too tough or dry, it won't cut through it at all. It just leaves blade marks. Just what I wanted.
If it doesn't get stuck so that I can't even pull the handle back up, it gets stuck in such a way that the onion just gets rotated with the blade, and so after a while of pushing on this thing, I realize I've been making the same cut the whole time. Yup, my half an onion just has one big zig-zag through it.
It's also hard to push down on this if you're chopping something hard-ish like onions or carrots. I've had to lean on it with some of my body weight to get it to do anything. I presume this is due to the dullness of the blade.
As to cleaning, if you have a dishwasher, good - but you still have to disassemble this thing into 5 pieces and make sure you have the blade in the correct locked position to ensure that it gets clean. If you don't, good luck! There are places (the blade housing) that are nearly impossible to reach with your average kitchen sponge.
It looks great and feels sturdy. I loved the idea. But this product really just Does. Not. Work.

An internal soft bumper absorbs shock to increase comfort and reduce sound. Chop ingredients in the enclosed cup with its soft, non-slip base, or remove the base and chop directly on a cutting board. A tab rotates within the cup to prevent food from accumulating on the side walls. The entire blade cartridge can be removed from the shopper by simply unscrewing it, so clean up is a breeze.
