I purchased this in a hardware store not knowing this was a cake tester. I always keep a piece of wire handy to clean the little plastic nozzles that always get clogged from my shampoo, hand lotion, liquid soap, etc bottles. This is wonderful. Never bends, cleans out the narrowest of openings and I LOVE it!!! I keep one in the bathroom and the kitchen. Makes a great little surprise gift.Customer Review: must have and great filler!

not only is this item a great filler item for your cart, it is a must have for your kitchen. no more digging around in the utensils drawer for anything sharp to test your cookies, just look for this. i always throw it into my cart as a filler and give them away as gifts. i've had it for months and the thing has yet to rust or even bend out of shape. highly recommended.Customer Review: Glorified Toothpick

To be honest, I purchased this product to meet the $25 minimum for free shipping. I have not used it yet but I'm sure it will do a fine job when the time comes. Is it better than a toothpick? It is if you don't happen to have a toothpick when your cake is almost done. This you will always have in your utensil drawer(unless you lose it).Customer Review: It's too thin to work well.

This tester looks thicker in the photos than it actually is. It's quite a bit more thin than your average toothpick. It's so thin that it always comes out clean for me when I use it. I test with this cake tester and it comes out clean but a thin knife like I normally use comes out soupy. It's a neat product but it needs to be thicker.Customer Review: Is the cake done?

Me and my daughter do a lot of cooking together and when I was placing an order and realized that all I needed was a couple of dollars to receive super-saver free shipping, I thought "What the heck." I am glad I purchased this cake tester. My girls have used it multiple times already and love it. It is a good value for the price.
