I bought the Oxo Good Grips Brushed Stainless Steel Turner Ladle, Oxo Good Grips Brushed Stainless Steel Spoon, Oxo Good Grips Brushed Stainless Steel Slotted Spoon, and Oxo Good Grips Brushed Stainless Steel Turner using the 4-for-3 promotion, so the price was right. And I'm sure they'll live up to the Oxo reputation for quality and usefulness. But I wish someone had mentioned...in the product description or a review...that these things are HUGE.

The sturdy brushed stainless steel construction is enhanced by soft handles that cushion and provide a non-slip grip. The stainless steel surface on the bottom of the handle lets you safely lean the utensils on hot cookware. LadleOne sleek piece of brushed stainless steel forms this 12-inch ladle from OXO Good Grips. The edges of the handle wrap under slightly and cradle a soft, non-slip grip in the lower five inches. A hole is provided for hanging. Sturdy construction and a deep bowl make this dishwasher-safe ladle perfect for serving soup from a big pot into individual bowls. Plus, because it?s steel, the ladle can rest safely on hot cookware.
