I love this grater. Each side has a different size grater on it, making it quite versatile, and the box that attaches underneath is very convenient. The box also comes with a lid to keep your unused grated substances fresh. The handle is soft and very comfortable to hold and both the bottom edges of the grater and of the measuring box are lined with rubber to prevent slipping.
This is a fantastic grater and you certainly can't beat the price. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

There are many types of graters for cheese that I have not tried. This, in my opinion, is probably the best and most practical of its kind.
It is still not nearly as convenient as buying pre-grated cheese from the store. I have now learned that the taste of quality cheeses, freshly grated at home by comparison make the convenient pre-grated packaged cheeses taste like cardboard.
It is interesting how one's attitute can be so easily changed. I was formerly happy with cardboard.

I like the little measuring tub on the bottom, but you still need a cutting board (or something else) under the grater, at least with hard cheese, because they flake off on the outside of the grater as well. Not a dealbreaking flaw, but a flaw nonetheless.
I do like that it's on the flat side, so it can be easily stored and put in the diswasher, and the tub is easy to put on and take off. I"m going to use it for a soft cheese tonight, and I'll update my review if necessary.

If you've seen any of my other reviews you'll know that I'm a BIG fan of OXO products. Most of my kitchen tools are OXO. There is no exception when it comes to this grater. I use it constantly and it's so handy to be able to drop it in the dishwasher and pull it out the next day to use again. The sealable cup is great to store leftover grates and I love, love, love that it stores inside the grater. I have bought this for gifts for my kitchen tool fans friends.Customer Review: Sharp and fits in a drawer

It was time to replace an ancient flat grater - read the reviews and determined this was the best. It's sharp and fits in a drawer. The bonus was the little rectangle box with measurements on the side and a cover. Just right when a recipe calls for a 1/2 cup of grated cheese. Cheese that is freshly grated is so, so much better than what comes out of bag - that icky coating may keep the strands from sticking together, but it definitely affects the texture and taste.
