I have arthritis in my knees, and find it difficult to continually stoop over to read the measurements on liquid measuring cups. No more! Oxo Angled Measuring Cups features easy-to-read measurements (the cups also feature metric equivalents) that can be viewed from above. This set of three measuring cups (1, 2, and 4 cups) is an excellent value and makes a thoughtful housewarming / wedding present (but be sure to buy a set for yourself as well).
It takes a little practice to pour and read accordingly, but once you have the hang of it, you'll never go back to old-fashioned measuring cups that require stooping and bending.

I was so suprised to read in the other review that these cups can't handle hot liquids, that I just had to write my own review. My set handles every temperature from very cold to very hot. I have used them to boil water in the microwave, to hold liquids I poured straight from a hot pan, to mix cold water & ice, you name it. These are the best measuring cups, and no more bending over to read the amount! I have given several sets as housewarming and wedding gifts, and am about to give several more as Christmas gifts. Everyone who has gotten them has praised their ease of use. I *highly* recommend.Customer Review: Great idea, not too sturdy

I love the angle on this measuring cup! Being over 6ft tall it makes it a whole lot easier to stand and measure rather than hunch over.
HOWEVER, the product says it's dishwasher safe and durable but after only 8 months of use and NO dishwasher use, there's a crack in the bottom that seeps out liquids slowly.
I am searching for a measuring cup with the same angled design made in another material, one that will last a few years at least! Until then I will replace mine with another OXO because it makes measuring liquids so amazingly simple!

I have four of these in graduated sizes. They are easy to read and pour very well, and they nest for storage. However, eventually they have all cracked at the bottom, as another reviewer wrote. I even replaced one and thought by never using it for hot liquids that might help, and top rack washing in the dishwasher. No such luck, cracked again, and then they leak. And I am afraid to use them in the microwave because they are plastic. A great idea, but seriously flawed.Customer Review: Way easy to use

I am a big fan of the top quality products OXO puts out. Hardly ever am I disappointed with the quality of any of them. These measuring cups are easy on the eyes. I was always having to get eye level with the counter to see where the measurment was. With these I don't have to do that anymore. And because I am so lazy with cooking (I almost always have it done for Me) this is great. The angled measuring is so much better and far superior to the traditional cups.
