Customer Review: Two good funnels and a crappy strainer.

1. The strainer is very hard to lock into place.
2. The strainer only strains large particles about the size of dry grits or very coarsely ground coffee. So that means that most coffee grounds go right through the strainer even if the strainer doesn't pops out like is does on me. The strainer is good for nothing that I need it for.
3. Both of the funnels are pretty nice. The rubber grips are pretty nice too.

Not much to say about this. They work.
One positive point: the non-slip grips down the sides really do a good job keeping it in place while pouring... eliminating most of the problems encountered by the negative point.
The negative point: The "handle" on the funnels is more like a tab. It is a little hard to hold on to when you're trying to balance a pot of stock in the other hand.

I bought this years ago (about 5!) and it's been nothing but great to own. 2 sizes of funnels means it's perfect for loading spices from a huge container to a small vessel. The large one is great for funneling olive oil from a huge container to a narrow vessel. And we finally found a good use for the strainer: pouring used oil into a container to reuse, it successfully gets all the bits out. Great buy!Customer Review: It Works Like it Should

This two funnels in this set along with the small strainer are of high quality. The rubber grips on the bottom of the funnels act to hold them steady in the container, and the rubber-lined finger/thumb grip helps you to hold onto the funnel. The set is nice and sturdy, and also intelligently engineered. The set also fits together very well for storage. I'm glad I bought these.

Some of the other reviewers seem overly enthused about this pair of funnels; there's nothing innovative about them. All around, I have no complaints about them, save one: I would've preferred that the smaller funnel have a smaller tip, so that I could use it to fill some spice dispensers that I have with small holes. Both of the funnels have tips that are about 1/2" in diameter.
