As another reviewer commented, hinges broke immediately upon removing fan from the box (whole thing is held together by 2 dime-sized pices of paper-thin plastic). Fan is useless without them. Additionally, fan is advertised as battery or AC operated, however an AC adapter power cord is not included. Whole thing is typical of the quality I should have expected from a cheap plastic chinese-made item, I suppose.Customer Review: Piece of Junk

I received this fan and folded out the base which is hinged. Both hinges immediately broke. I complained and Ace sent me another fan. They generously told me I could keep the 1st broken fan. I just received the fan. I very carefully folded out the base. Both hinges broke again. I guess I will cobble together something to attach the fan to the base but basically this fan is a piece of junk.Customer Review: O2 Cool, powerful fan

This is an amazingly powerful fan which I just used, when the a/c died 2 days after its arrival! Even in 90 degree heat, it put out a strong breeze which provided great relief. I used an a/c adapter, since I still had power. This company packed the fan VERY well, which I appreciated. I highly recommend both the fan AND the company.Customer Review: GREAT air flow !!!!

This fan is great! I use it on the desktop, operated with batteries.It puts out a good airflow.It's great because you can fold it up and down, and angle it.It comes with an adapter(plug in), which is another great option.
I know the anytime we have a summer "blackout" this battery operated fan will do the trick just fine!

This is not a good product, very poor quality. I ordered two of these fans after hurrican Gustav and the first time I opened both of them the hinges broke. I returned them and got a full refund. Don't waste your time and money on this product. There are better battery powered fans on the market.
