I have 3 Labradors, 2 blacks and 1 chocolate. I have been using it since January 2009 and it is now March, 2009 and I'm very impressed. I have noticed that since using that it has had some great results. All 3 of our dogs coat have been changing before our eyes. The two black's fur have started really shining better than I have ever seen before. One of our dogs has skin allergies. She has started showing signs of improvement. She's not scratching as much and not losing as much hair. She seems to be growing back what she lost. Also she smells alot better. Our chocolate lab has very thick and unruly hair for a lab. His hair has started looking more like we've been washing him with conditioner, meaning that his hair has become more shiny and is laying down smoother. Also, they all seem to have more energy. 2 of our dogs are 5 years old, and the other one is 4 years old. I will definitely buy more. They really love eating it . I add water to it when I serve it to them. When I add water, it becomes just like gravy.Customer Review: I'm on the fence about this product for a PUPPY

I was very exicited when I received Nupro in the mail. I read the recommended dosage to give my English Bulldog puppy and followed the instructions. It says 1 scoop per day per her weight. She loved the flavor, had a ton of energy and a brilliant coat to match. Many people were amazed that she had that much energy for a bullie. However after the first day, I noticed messy, messy stools that were a nightmare to clean up. I figured it was her system trying to get acclimated to the product but after several weeks the stools never solidified. I talked to my vet and he recommended I take her off Nupro. So, I do not recommend giving this to your pup (at least an EB pup, since I'm not sure about other breeds) until their digestive systems strengthen. But once she's old enough, I will definitely put her on it again.
EDIT: I switched my pup's food and noticed normal stools again! Introduced Nupro back into her diet and the stools have not changed. It was her food that gave her the messy stools not Nupro, thank goodness!

We tried the Nupro supplement on the recommendation of a breeder. It was for our 10# shih tzu. After a few days it appeared that it was having great results, her eyes appeared brighter and she had alot of spunk. The unfortunate result that came along with that was loose stools. We came home to an absolute mess one day. We thought maybe she had eaten something outside but I also stopped the supplement to get her back to normal. After she resumed normal activity we tried the supplement again (at a smaller dose) and ended up with another mess...this time all over our new carpet. We immediately stopped the supplement and she again is back to normal. We also tried the supplement with joint support for our golden retriever. It did not effect his stools but it did make his allergies worse (not better as the supplement promotes) so we have also discontinued the supplement with him. My parents also tried this supplement with their shih tzu and he has just recently started to have loose stools.Customer Review: Its Worth a Try if Your Dog Has Seizures!

I bought this for my yellow lab who has had two seizures in the past 3 months. After lots of research, I decided to add this supplement to her diet, along with a Vitamin C supplement. Her first and second seizures were about 1 1/2 months apart. Its been a little over a month since I started her on this supplement and almost a month and a half since her last seizure. I don't know if it has to do with the supplements or not, but at least my dog's seizures aren't becoming more frequent! I will definitely be keeping her on this supplement to see how things go. Its much cheaper and healthier than taking her to the vet for medications! Plus, she LOVES the taste of this! She thinks she's getting a treat!Customer Review: Serious stuff.

I started my French Bulldog on the Nupro Supplement, combined with a no-grain all natural kibble when he was about 12 weeks of age. He is now a little over 4 months and his coat is very healthy and shiny. His exposed skin on his belly and in his huge bat ears are the perfect shade of gray. No redness or irritation at all. When awake, he has a tremendous amount of energy and runs and hops around the house like he's the happiest dog in the world. I add water to the mix, along with other supplements (please give your dog bonemeal in addition to this), to make a great gravy that he just loves. It never takes him more than 5 or 10 minutes to eat his whole bowl. I highly recommend this supplement.
