This is cheaply made chinese junk... where the handle is riveted to the funnel, the funnel is rough on the inside with the first signs of rust forming. I have not even used it yet, but there is rust forming. TERRIBLE. I am going to attach a photo with a red arrow pointing it out, but it did not turn out as vivid in the picture as it looks in real life. I can't imagine how rusty this will get if it actually gets wet... RMA'ing right now...Customer Review: makes life a snap

Everyone else has said it all... eliminates spills and overpouring... fits perfectly on a regular mouth ball jar, and very stable on a wide mouth jar.
One poster's comment about a sharp edge on the bottom of the funnel caught my eye and concerned me, so that was the first thing I "examined" when the funnel arrived. IMHO, not very sharp at all.
Definitely superior to those plastic funnels. This one's a keeper!

Yes, you need this!!! I use this daily. Anytime you want to fill something up without spillage, use this!!!! I fill leftover containers with sauces, fill spice storage jars and of course canning jars and thermoses!!! A million uses in one gadget. No more splashing messes when pouring!!!! A superb high quality item that is made to last. Forget the plastic crap from Walmart in the canning section!!!!Customer Review: One size does not fit all

This product is another quality product for sure, and is great if you are using wide mouth jars or anything 32oz and up. I recently switched to 24oz. jars and was disappointed when the product arrived and discovered it did not fit anything smaller that 32oz or Wide Mouth jars. So its a great product if you are using those size jars.

Purchased to use when canning, however I have found it a fabulous addition to my kitchen what-nots! No longer do I make a mess when pouring soups and sauces; it goes exactly where I need it to go, and not all over the sides of the storage container. Much better than a plastic funnel; I can put this into the dishwasher.
