I got it a day or so after ordering it and decided to try it out ASAP. The included recipes looked good so I used #1. Everything went smoothly and I soon had a large bowl of near perfect spaetzel that everyone exclaimed over and gobbled up! It's definitely a gadget worth having especially at the bargain price. I love this. I have looked all over and they are kind of hard to find. The first time I made them I used a colander and I had a mess. So I said when I find one of these I am going to buy it, and I bought this one. Bought this to replace my old rusted spaetzle and it is perfect! the plastic glides way better than my old one and i never have to worry about it rusting on top. the grated part is much smoother and sinier even after using and washing with hard so cal water! love it and recommended my mom replace hers as well.Customer Review: It works. With apologies to Alton Brown, this is a single-tasker that works. All it does is make spaetzle, but it does it well -- better than a colander. The holes are larger than a colander and the plastic "magazine" on top slides back and forth to push the little spaetz through. It is also very easy to clean.
