Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Norpro Nonstick Flower Pancake MoldCustomer Review: Potato Salad was never so easy Summary: 5 Stars
After using the traditional egg slicer and finally having broken the wire strings on the last one, i was searching for something more durable. And this egg wedger caught my eye. I've used it and really like it. It collapses nicely for storage and so far seems quite durable. I've seen this in specialty cooking catalogs for more money, but on sale, this kitchen gadget is worth having--especially if you'll be making a lot of potato salad this summer!
Customer Review: A very cute idea, but the execution is tricky Summary: 2 Stars
My boyfriend - an accomplished cook - tried to make pancakes with this mold and found it very difficult. The thickness of the batter had to be played with and it was difficult to cook the center of the pancakes because the batter was forced up instead of spreading out. They were cute, thick little pancakes that were raw in the center.
Customer Review: Fairly good. Summary: 4 Stars
Arrive safe and sound, having a flawless pattern takes a bit of work and an exceptionally flat griddle, however. Pouring the batter in and sloshing it around to get a skin before dumping the rest in will help with leakage.
