Works exactly as described with large variances on roasting time - make sure to test your garlic after 35 minutes to see how done it is and when roasting a lot - it may be more than 45 minutes. It does get really sticky and gooey - but soaking for an hour in hot water took most of it right off and 2 hours for the most stubborn parts. I didn't have to heat my whole oven, fits in my convection over just fine. Garlic was perfect for my mashed potatoes!Customer Review: What did I do without it?!?!

I really wish that I did not wait so long to order this item. I had seen one years ago and thought "that could be cool to have". Now that I have one I tell everyone that this is a must have item if you like garlic. There is nothing better than fresh roasted garlic to add to your favorite recipes. The smell of the garlic roasting is reason enough to have one of these in your kitchen. It is easy to use and clean-up is not an issue either.Customer Review: Didn't Work Very Well

I didn't find this product worked nearly as well for me as it apparently has for other reviewers here. The first time I tried it I followed the direction and the garlic was barely cooked. I doubled the time the second try and while it was definitely better it still wasn't cooked nearly well enough. User error? I'll get around to trying it again one of these days, but I'm not holding my breath in hope of a superior outcome.Customer Review: A Most Wonderful Roaster

This garlic roaster is by far the most superior product I have ever used, and I have used hundreds of them. I whole heartedly endorse this wonderful tool and would recommend purchasing not only one but several to give away to all of the people on your block as well as every one of your relatives. I purchased this for my son in law as a Christmas gift.
He followed the instructions, soaked the top for 10 minutes in cold water...sliced off the tops of the heads before seasoning and made sure that they sat evenly on the bottom of the roasting dish.
To our delight, the result was three garlic heads roasted to perfection.
Great little item for fans of garlic.
