Customer Review: These slicers and dicers are the max!

I love these flexible cutting mats! I first bought some several years ago, and those are just starting to wear out, so I bought this new set in order to never be without them! I have several rigid cutting boards, but 99% of the time, I prefer to use these. They fit nicely behind the silverware rack in the dishwasher, taking up almost no space at all, and I'm sure they are better sanitized than I can do with hand washing, so I'm not afraid to use them interchangeably for meat cutting and vegetable chopping.
Their flexibility is vital to my sanity as a cook. Instead of trying to keep chopped onions from falling everywhere and missing the pan I'm cooking them in (a problem I've always had with rigid cutting boards), I simply roll the mat to make a funnel and slip them in - no spillage, no problem!
They do a further service for me that has nothing to do with slicing and dicing. When I grind bread or cracker crumbs and want to store them in a jar, I use the roll and pour method with perfect results. Ditto for getting the last of the baking powder, dry milk solids, coffee or cocoa out of the original container into my measuring cup or filter or wherever I want them. If I spill flour or sugar on the counter, I scoop it up and pour it back to where it belongs.
