Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Norpro Ice Pop MakerCustomer Review: Icecream bar/ popsicle solution Summary: 4 Stars
Got this to make fudgesicles, as was disapointed in the quality of the commercial ones. Once I got the hang of how to remove the bars, it was good. The only negative was, I had to trial-and-error it (to learn how) as the instuctions were very lacking in detail. The shape of the plastic mold is great; the bars come out looking quite nice.
Customer Review: Ice Pop Maker Summary: 5 Stars
So far this product has lived up to my expectations. It comes with about a dozen wooden sticks and a few recipes, which are pretty good! I must have filled up the molds too high because when I took them out of the freezer to try one it took an act of god to get the top metal part off as it was stuck. Other than that, I really like it.
Customer Review: great alternative for store bought popcicles Summary: 4 Stars
I use this product a couple times a week. I like that it makes 10 at a time. Dislike that you have to remember not to fill all the way. Also you have to remember to make your sticks straight before the popcicles are to hard. If you don't do this you'll have to bend your lid to get it off. I like to use foil as an alternative lid.
Customer Review: I don't know what the others are complaining about... Summary: 5 Stars
...The popsicles come out pretty easily if you run the molds and top quickly under warm water, then squeeze the molds to loosen, and they pull right out! Just remember to not fill the molds completely to the top as to avoid the popsicle expanding and sticking to the lid when freezing. I love how this set has 10 molds!
Customer Review: Don't buy it. Summary: 1 Stars
We got this because my husband though that it would work in spite of some of the negative reviews. The popsicle sticks have to be perfectly straight or you can't get the lid off - and the sticks move and pop up while the liquid is thawed. WE tried once and are ready to throw it away. It was a total waste of money.
