Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Norpro Ice Pop MakerCustomer Review: How do you freeze fun?!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Wow...I have grown up using popsicle makers and this one takes the cake. We are natural food people and make lots of non sugar treats so these ROCK...they are so durable (nothing chintzy about them) and truly a great size for satisfying your sweet cold cravings....It takes 3 cups of liquid to fill these 10 holders and a GREAT RECIPE we have discovered is just whole frozen strawberries about half covered in water with agave nectar to taste in our Vitamix....YUMMY YUM!
Customer Review: Poor design Summary: 1 Stars
There is nothing easy about using this product. The sticks which came with our set were much smaller than the slot for them, so they float up out of the slots at strange angles. You have to let the icepops partially freeze (about 1/2 hour), then remeber to jam the sticks in. Also, the only way to get the pops out is to run hot water on the mold, which defeats the purpose of having a nice icy pop. There must be a better product out there.
Customer Review: Fun Product! Summary: 5 Stars
All around a great product. Hard to get the sticks in straight, but other than that, I have no complaints. The shape and size of the popsicles is just perfect, and I like the fact that you use disposable wooden sticks. I love what you can make with them. My friends think it's a riot when I make them popsicles, and I like making them cause I can make healthy popsicles that taste great! My favourite is frozen pureed fruit...
Customer Review: Good popsicle maker Summary: 4 Stars
This popsicle maker works fine. My grandchildren like the results. The only problem that we have had with the popsicle maker is that although the aluminum top aligns the popsicle sticks, the top does not hold the sticks up. After the popsicles are frozen, the part of the popsicle stick protruding outside the frozen popsicle is short. A rubber band or paper clip around each popsicle stick could be used to adjust the height.
Customer Review: NOT EASY USE Summary: 1 Stars
Once they are frozen, it is a fight to get them out without wetting the container, and then what does one do with them after they are all loose? AND, if you try to leave them in the container to refreeze after you take out the one you wanted, then just try to get that stupid top back on ...Grrrrr! And if you do manage to get it on, it falls off anyway! Grrrrrr..
