Pretty good product overall. Needs to have an airtight lid. It tends to attract fruit flies. I opened it a few days ago and the fruit flies were terrible, and there were little worms in the bucket--disgusting! We had been using old coffee cans with airtight lids and never had that problem. You have to be very careful to close the lid very quickly so this won't happen.Customer Review: love it!

attractive enough to sit on a counter, this compost bucket is the perfect size for keeping in the cabinet under the sink, while being large enough to hold many days worth of compostibles. the stainless steel is easy to clean and doesn't absorb odors, and the filter in the lid keeps the bucket odor free. additionally, i have had no problems with fruit flies.Customer Review: Large and easy to use

We've been using this compost keeper for several weeks and it's spacious, keeps compost without odor or issues and dumps easily and quickly into our compost bin. The only issue I have is that the exterior does spot a bit and because it's right next to our sink it gets a bit of spray now and then that we just have to wipe off with a rag.Customer Review: Don't be fooled into ordering this item for the extra filter set

I was disappointed that this item did not come with the replacement filter set that was advertised. I like the product overall. It appears durable. It is a gift. It would have been nice to have been able to give the extra filters as well. It seems other customers have had this same experience of not getting the extra filters.Customer Review: Bummer

I purchased this item around 6 months ago but only got 4 months use out of it. The bucket is very sturdy but the lid cracked all around bottom portion that fits into the bucket. The cracks prevented the lid from fitting into the bucket which forced me to discontinue use of this item. I would not purchase this item again.
