This slicer is crap. The blades are so weak that the first time I tried to slice an onion, they bent. When I tried to slice a tomato, black plastic was on every slice, probably from the top. I wouldn't recommend this slicer to anyone. It's a waste of money.Customer Review: Tomato slicer

This product is so use easy to use, it can be used with one hand. The slicer actually should be called a tomato sawer, it cuts tomatoes to the perfect length. I highly recommend this product it slices like a pro would, with nice consistent slices.Customer Review: poor product

This will cut a rippened tomato but will crush it also. It will not cut an onion and if you try you will get part of the plastic in your food.
