A long time ago, I thought I'd do my husband a favor by replacing his orange, burnt, worn and to my eyes, ugly nylon spatula. Ever since, I've been trying to replace that thing and it's been at least 20 years. This comes about as close as I can get it. So in my book, it's a five star tool - not too flimsy but soft enough to bend to scrape the bottom of a pot of bean soul yet firm enough to lift fish off the bottom of the pan.
