I LOVE this pan! I have also bought 'cheaper' versions and found them to be far inferior. The cheaper pans have a seam ridge on the top around each donut cavity that catches batter and snags cleaning cloths. They are much thinner and lighter than this pan and therefore do not heat as evenly. Also the donut cavities in the cheaper versions are not as deep and the hole maker is much smaller, resulting in a donut that is not 'pleasing to the eye' and looks more like a cookie with a small hole in the middle. This pan cooks evenly every time and the donuts come out looking 'professional' and deliciously tempting! I highly recommend this pan!Customer Review: Good pan but only one recipe!

I just received the 2 pans I ordered as a Christmas gift. My plan was to either order 1 pan plus a recipe book, OR get 2 pans. Since the pans said there were "recipes included," I didn't think I would need to also get a recipe book. Unfortunately, the pans only come with one recipe. I think it'll work fine - the person I bought them as a gift for can look up recipes online, but if the product description had been accurate, I would have made a different purchase decision. I'm kind of bummed about that, but the pans look nice and seem high quality - thick metal construction and they'll make donuts just the right size.Customer Review: a good purchase

I really like this product and I'm happy that I ordered two of them. It's heavy duty and cleans easily. I have never hsd anything stick to it. I am liberal with the cooking spray. I'm having fun experimenting with a few different recipes. You have to remember that these are baked donuts not fried.Also, when putting the batter into the pan, take a medium bowl, put in a gallon plastic bag that overlaps the sides,put the batter in and snip a small hole in the corner. Using this inexpensive type of pastry bag makes putting the batter in the pan, a breeze and no mess. I'm very glad that I made this purchase.Customer Review: Good Little Donut Pan

I love choclate covered cake donuts but find them too sweet in the stores so I bought this pan so that I could control the amount of suagr for taste and dietary reasons. I just tried the pan(and four chocolate covered donuts!) and was happy with it. I used the recipe that came with the pan and 2/3 the amount of sugar. They had a nice flavor but the donuts come out very light in color...not brown at all so they don't look great. Also, they do take much longer than 8-10 mins at 325 in an electric oven. If anyone finds a great recipe and a way to brown the donuts, please let me know.Customer Review: A fantastic baking tool!

I was craving apple cider donuts (it's the season) and was so disappointed when I found out my favorite bakery used all sorts of gross things in their mix!
THANK GOODNESS for this wonderful donut pan! It was perfectly priced, cooked my homemade recipes to perfection and cleaned up well! Plus, it takes up very little storage space! I HIGHLY RECCOMEND this little gem for anyone who wants to make homemade goodies without all the junk!
