I was disappointed with this item. It it very lightweight and it arrived with several dents in it, and the non-stick coating was scratched off in several places. I can't imagine what condition the coating would have been in after even just a few uses. The overall size of the pan, and the indentations is fine. I sent it back to Amazon with absolutely no problems whatsoever. I exchanged it for Lodge's cast iron version of this pan, and am glad I did. If you can afford to pay the extra money, definitely go with the cast iron pan instead.Customer Review: So Easy to use

I made my first Aebleskiver using this pan. I was not disappointed in any way. They cooked evenly and did not stick at all. I used wooden kebob skewers that worked perfectly for turning and then you can pierce the aebleskiver and if the skewer comes out dry they are cooked. The clean up was incredibly easy. The pan seems to be sturdy and looks like a quality item. I got the recipe from My Recipes.com under the name of Danish Pancake Balls. I highly recommend it. It is extremely easy and cooks perfectly in this pan.Customer Review: Tasty and fun!

This is so much easier than the cast iron one I had, have used it 4 times since I got it. Had week-end guests, and they were wowed over. Never heard of these. They were going to order one when they got home. It's so easy to use, chop sticks work best, and with gas heat it's best to use a med. low heat or they brown too fast. Other than that, they are great, I make them the night before and put the in the oven to heat them through in the morning. Taste like they were just made. This is a great pan - not heavy, easy to clean up, works from the minute you take it out of the box. I had been trying unsuccessfully (for a YEAR) with aluminum and other non-stick pans to make some African and Asian recipes that require a mold shaped like this, but without success... until the day this arrived in the mail. Thank you, thank you Norpro. No need to pay for the more expensive one. This is rock solid, cheaper and does the job it's made for perfectly. I love it.Customer Review: not for gas stoves

Unlike some other aebelskiver (also ebelskiver) pans, this does not have a support ring around the wells on its underside. Without the support ring, this pan sat unevenly on my gas range grills, making it unusable. I imagine it would work well on an electric stove element, but that seemed too big an investment for me just to use this pan.
