Customer Review: Glass stove top &1st time Æbleskiver cook....

I am not a graceful person. I do not have fabulous culinary skills. Lately I have been in a learning to cook mode. I truly blame food shows like "Good Eats" starring Alton Brown and movies like Waitress (Widescreen Edition), Julie & Julia [Blu-ray], and of course NEW Chocolat (2000) - Chocolat (2000) (blu-ray) (Blu-ray).
Until I 'accidentally' order a Æbleskiver mix along with Monkey Bread I had never heard of them nor even seen the specialized pan. I thought it was a Jalapeno Biscuit mix. I ordered this specific pan as we own a glass top insert stove. I was skeptical when I saw the pan- I think I assumed the bottom would be flat. I waited a bit to try this out as the whole process takes a little bit of time. Made them this morning. Fabulous!Jalapeno Corn Aebleskiver Mix--Puff Pancake (2 lb mix) I used bamboo skewers to turn the puffs and even my very picky son (he has Asperger's and not at all open to new things often) loved them.
I used 1% milk and since I made two batches at once I split the difference and instead of 4 total eggs I used 2 real eggs (separated) as well as egg beaters and egg whites.
I used margarine versus the suggested butter in the holes and even swapped that out with Pam. This was not as good but still very tasty.
The pan cleaned out very easily....as did the many other dishes I used.
The result=These are not health foods but they are 'good eats'.
