I like the composter. It's style is pretty reasonable to fit into our kitchen decor, it's easy to clean, keeps smells contained. The recyclable liners fit well, too. Only 2 issues I would have are: 1) It's a little too big for my small kitchen counters 2) where to find the filters; I went to order them online and 2 filters cost $5 and the shipping over $8! When I called the # they only had an answering machine. But the product seems to be a good find.Customer Review: Love this thing!

I've had my compost keeper for about a year and a half now, it was a Christmas gift from my mom. It is perfect for me! I keep all of our used coffee grounds and fruit & veggie scraps in it and empty it about once a week into my big composter in the yard. It has NEVER smelled, it's very easy to clean and the filters are simple to replace. Even after having all those gross scraps and even coffee grounds in it, it still looks brand new. This thing is great. It tried a couple other stainless versions before reading the reviews here and this is the one I was looking for in the beginning. It's large enough so that I don't have to run to the compost bin every 2 days, easy off top, yet keeps in smells completely. Easily washable and a great handle to boot. Plus, I'm super picky about looks and this one fits the bill, sitting on my countertop. You hardly notice it. Highly recommended!Customer Review: Cute! And works great!

This little stainless steel trashcan works wonderfully. I keep mine on the counter right next to the sink, and it is easy to put food scraps in so you only need to make one trip every few days to the compost pile outside. The charcoal filter works WONDERFULLY...hard to believe, but even onions and forgotten scraps that turn into science experiments are impossible to smell when the lid is closed. This stainless steel keeper works great for keeping compostable items stored until they can be put into a compost bin. Items can be held within it for several days. I have never noticed any odors related to it when the lid is closed. (I am very picky about that sort of thing) The filters seem to work very well. It is easy to clean and sanitize. It is light weight and attractive. It arrives very well packaged. I would recommend it to others.
