Customer Review: cute but has a real flaw

I like the style of this lamp, and although quite small it's what I expected for the low price. But the lampshade is a real puzzler. There is no hardware to hold the shade at the proper height. The only way is to mount the shade at the base of the lightbulb (before it is screwed in). But that way, the lightbulb ends up being taller than the shade! And overall, it makes for a much shorter lamp, about a full inch shorter than the height listed in the product description. I'm still not sure if I can adapt it somehow. What a shame.
